Minutes of 1st VMC Meeting (Session 2011-12)

Date of meeting: 25.08.2011

 

A first meeting of VMC for the Session 2011-12 held on 25.08.2011 at 11.00 A.M. in the Vidyalaya and was presided by the Chairman VMC, Sh. S. P. Pokhriyal DIG-P, GC CRPF Rampur (U.P.).

The meeting started with the welcome address of the Principal Sh. J.K. Pandey. The Principal introduced the newly joined members of the VMC.

The Vidyalaya has been shifted in new K.V. building in the month of April 2011. At present from Class – I to Class – X, each class have two sections; beside this we have one section XI (Science) one section XI (Commerce) one section XI (Humanities) and one section XII (Science) one section XII (Commerce). Thus we have 25 Sections in all. The class XI (Humanities) started from this academic session.

                The 04 Post of PGTs. i.e. PGT (Physics), PGT (Economics), PGT (History) and PGT (Geography) are lying vacant. Against these posts Contractual Teachers have been appointed. One PGT (Commerce) is on Child Care Leave for 89 Days. One Primary Teacher is on Child Care Leave for 89 days, one PRT is on long leave. The Contractual Teachers are working against these posts.

                                One post of LDC is also lying Vacant. For games & Sports three Games Coaches are working. Out of these one is exclusively working for Primary Section. One spoken English Teacher is also working in Primary Section to strengthen Spoken English Specially in Primary Classes.

 

We are also conducting following programmes in the Vidyalaya.

  1. We are conducting PTA Meeting regularly and especially we call the parents of the students appearing in the Board Examinations to give feedback of their ward and also request to watch the study of their wards at home.
  2. We are organizing the CCA activities regularly and also encouraging the students to take part in the school activities. The students also take part in the activities organized by other Vidyalayas of Rampur City.
  3. The time management has been implemented. Staff and students are following the time schedule.
  4. The experts in the different fields will be invited for counseling of students to develop confidence among the students.
  5. We have implemented the CCE programme for Classes III to X for the all-round development of the students.
  6. The Common Minimum Programme is running in the Primary Section and it will be extended upto Class VIII very soon.
  7. In order to remove academic deficiency in under achievers the remedial classes will start soon.

The Principal read out the VVN budget (headwise, the chairman and the members discussed the VVN budget headwise and unanimously approved the budget for the session 2011-12 (A copy of budget is enclosed herewith)
